I've always been very interested in design. Whether it was clothing, hair, cosmetics, fashion- you name it. Anything allowing me a creative outlet. From a very young age I knew I would have a career that allowed me to be a designer of something. At age 19 I enrolled in beauty school after working for 3 years as a Service Coordinator for a local salon. Doing hair came natural to me and I decided that this was it- this would be my career and my future. I've attended numerous trade shows, classes, seminars and workshops over the years and have found that as a hair designer, my true passion lies in cutting and coloring hair. Behind the chair I practice Redken color placement and current cutting trends. I firmly believe that creating a complete look for an individual requires an eye for personality, face and body shape and lifestyle. It's knowing that I can give a great haircut, but to really complete the look the placement of color is crucial.
I opened THE GROTTO hair studio in 2003, following the sale of my first salon. In '07 I took on a new business partner and by '08 we had outgrown our original location and moved to Fairhaven where we would have triple the space and staff. Most recently, I have started an airbrush tanning business within THE GROTTO and am committed to continued growth and staying current with the constantly changing beauty and fashion industry. I will always make room in my schedule for new clients, Welcome!
